Prof. (Dr.) Sachin Batra is having a rich experience of 14 years in Print and Electronic Media along with 9 years of teaching experience in various Media Institutes and Universities like IMS Noida, Sharda University, Amity University, IIMT, SRM University etc. He was associated with SAMAY National News channel as Bureau In-charge in Rajasthan and worked with leading newspapers like Rajasthan Patrika, Dainik Bhaskar etc. He has authored a book and written articles for research journals. He had completed Professional Training Course for Working Journalists conducted by RWJU & International Institute of Journalism, Brandenberg, Berlin. He is actively delivering lectures for PIO’s in NIDM, Ministry of Home Affairs and associated with Professional Society of Drone Journalists, USA as member for Drone Journalism and research. He is member of Imagine Photojournalist Society, Jaipur & Jodhpur Press Club. Prof. Sachin is also associated with the prestigious Media Professionals and Media Academicians website Newswriters.in, where he contributed various articles/chapters on Investigative Journalism, Sting Operation, Cartoon Journalism, Drone Journalism etc.
Qualification :
Ph-D Hindi (Journalism), MJMC (University Topper & Gold Medallist) & Diploma in French. Qualified International Courses - ‘Investigative Reporting in the Digital Age’ from Knight Center for Journalism in America’s, University of Texas, ‘Visualization for Data Journalism’ from University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign & Specialized Course on ‘Journalism in a Pandemic: Covering Covid-19’ from Knight Center for Journalism in America’s, University of Texas.
Research Publications:
Two Research articles Published in reputed journals (Sanchar Madhyam, IIMC, Delhi & IMS MANTHAN) and many news stories along with articles are published in the newspapers.
Written a book on Journalist Bishan Singh Shekhawat’s contribution to Journalism, which was unveiled in year 2000 by then Governor of Rajasthan Mr Anshuman Singh & Former Vice President of India late Mr Bharo Singh Shekhawat.
